So, what is a REM Pavilion Tent?
R.E.M stands for Round Ended Marquee
Round ended tents work so much better than traditional rectangular tents. Any round ended tent will stand against to the wind more solidly than its square cornered equivalent. The round ends give an infinity feel to the structure, exuding timelessness.
When you step inside, the circular shape adds an air of perfection to the space. Although you won't consciously notice it, the roof panels repeat exactly, this means that everywhere in the tent the space feels the same. No one is being stuck in a corner!
A modern take on the traditional marquee, these tents are designed and handbuilt in-house in our island workshops. The tents are fabricated from a lightweight sailcloth set on traditional wooden poles. The tents soar gracefully to a height of 6m in the centre; they have beautiful curved ends which gives a majestic feel to any event. The roof is a complex, natural curve which looks elegantly just right. The walls stand at 2 metres high, giving you full standing headroom throughout the space. The lightweight canvas allows the tent to glow as night falls.
The structure can be lit with fairy lights looped from the top of the poles to the outer perimeter. Uplighters are used around the edges making the tent shine. They are the perfect space for any outdoor wedding. They are available in a range of sizes to cater for any number of guests, from 40 to 200. The tents can be setup as single structures or interlinked to create a truly unique event space.
